Democratic Party appeal to fund campaign through Graphic subscriptions
The Democratic National Committee seeks money to cover campaign expenses as the New York Graphic offers to split half of yearly subscriptions. A hundred thousand subscribers at $2.50 each would raise $125,000. The appeal urges Democrats nationwide to subscribe by next mail to support Cleveland and Thurman and obtain Nast cartoons in a leading illustrated paper.
