Aged county home inmate Aty Owens was fatally struck by a Ford driven by 19-year-old Larry Coley near Wilson road to the fairgrounds. Coley was arrested and to have a hearing. Owens died. transport and transfer man said Owens had been drinking, which could not be verified. Funeral services planned. no known relatives in Wilson.
