New York reports Nellie Bly finished her round the world voyage in 72 days 6 hours 11 minutes covering about 23000 miles. She arrived Jersey City at 3 52 p m to a jubilant crowd while police cleared a path for the greeting by Mayor Cleveland and others. Bly traveled via Southampton Calais Dover Brindisi Suez Hong Kong Yokohama and San Francisco among many stops, ending with a cross country return to Pittsburgh where she received a warm reception before the final leg to her home city.
