In Fayetteville on May 21 1892 Cras G Cain Clerk of Superior Court writes to Dr Simon Ros praising spectacles purchased from him as perfectly satisfactory and more beneficial than prior glasses. The note is a formal courtesy acknowledging the value of the eyewear.
Letter from Allee Wade at Goopwin Station Cumberland County North Carolina dated May 15 1892 praising the cure of his daughter Sallie who was nearly blind after typhoid fever. A visiting ophthalmic doctor had urged Fayetteville and the treatment by Dr Ros restored her reading ability and renewed hope for others to seek similar care.
In Fayetteville North Carolina on May 4 1592 Ralph P Buxton reports that Dr Simon Ros fitted him with a pair of pebble eye glasses which have proved satisfactory.
