Stockdale ISD Sets Aside Half Million for Future Projects
Stockdale ISD trustees agreed to designate 500000 as unassigned funds for future projects to be named later. Superintendent Paul Darilek noted the district previously reserved 450000 for the tennis court project and seeks grant extensions for energy efficiency work at the elementary, with a December 31 deadline to finish paperwork.

A noon crash on U S 87 in La Vernia sent Troy Dominguez by air to University Hospital San Antonio in critical condition after his 2011 Toyota Scion struck a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe with Michael and Meagan Lyndsey. Meagan Lyndsey was treated and released at Connally Memorial Medical Center Floresville. William Mainz uninjured in a head on hit.

Bexar County ESD No 12 in St. Hedwig ordered a new rescue vehicle slated for completion October 17. The St Hedwig VFD is the contracted provider and received a grant update while July expenditures were reviewed and bills approved.
