Wilson County commissioners propose 2003-04 tax rate

In a brief meeting on Friday Wilson County commissioners proposed a 0.4637 rate for the 2003-04 fiscal year starting Oct 1. The current rate is 0.4554. The proposal would add about 250000 in property tax. A public hearing is set for Sept 17 with final vote Sept 22.
