County road remains closed after July floods
Wilson County officials said C R 117 between U S 181 Business and FM 1303 will stay shutdown for at least two more months due to a high river, debris and unsafe bridge pillars. TxDOT cannot inspect underwater sections until the San Antonio River recedes and debris is cleared.

Evergreen district amends well reporting and ASR rules
The district requires all non-exempt well owners to file annual production volumes with Evergreen. Exempt wells serving single households under 25 000 gallons per day are not required to report. The rule changes also regulate any aquifer storage and recovery projects within the district.
