Stockdale City Council approved changing Block 59 in West Wheeler and Sixth streets from agriculture to multi family residential at a Oct 15 special meeting. A public hearing Sept 27 drew questions but no objections. Mayor Stahl and City Manager Akin noted flood plain maps changed since 2000.

Poth burglaries surge as arrests made in Wilson County
Wilson County officials investigate a series of burglaries and thefts since Oct 1. Eric Trevisio, 33, of San Antonio, and accomplice John Delgado, 40, were charged with burglary and theft as officers recovered stolen items from a truck and homes. A 1995 Chevrolet Camaro theft and fencing damage at Poth High School were among late incidents. Crime Stoppers and police urge tips.
