Indianapolis editors Frederic Birmingham and Tom Synhorst visited Floresville on Nov 21 1979 to research a John Connally profile for their magazine They toured downtown spoke with locals including bank library and school staff and viewed Connally family materials at the Wilson County Historical Society The editors praised Floresville hospitality and said they may feature Mrs Nellie Connally and the Connally family in a future national piece.
