Committees led by Rose Zenner Watson and Adams will manage fencing clearing insurance and signs while workdays plan brush removal and respecting the purchase terms. A community meeting is set for December 5 at 7 30 p m at the school to schedule further tasks and record manhours and equipment usage.
Two Floresville residents operate a home peanut candy business making peanut brittle from peanuts. Mrs. Emil Frieden and her mother Lohse take orders, recently filling a Seguin firm for 100 gallons as Christmas gifts. Frieden recalls their recipe from I. D. Flores Drug Co. and notes daily batch capacity of 10 to 12 gallons.
