Ronald B. May born May 26 1942 in Corpus Christi passed away Sunday May 14 at age 57. He was a water utilities manager who married Lillian Kiolbassa in 1999. Visitation 7 p.m. Tuesday at Finch Funeral Chapel La Vernia with rosary. funeral Wednesday 10 a.m. at San Hedwig church officiated by Father Bill Zadora. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by wife daughters Kathleen Malvern and Kimberly Phillips sister Lorana May and others. Memorials preferred to donor's choice.

Remembering J T Marshall World War II medic and gardener
James Thomas Marshall 80 of San Antonio later moved to Granite Shoals and Floresville died May 9 2000. He served as an army medic in North Africa Italy and South France during World War II and worked at Kelly Air Force Base in acquisition services. He ran Marshall's Ice House with his wife and was active in VFW Post 8555 and the Buchanan Bass Busters. Funeral services were held May 11 2000 at Floresville Church of Christ with a VFW memorial service May 10.
