Arcadia Theatre revives Floresville downtown with new screen
Arcadia Theatre in Floresville, opened in 1928, was renovated at a cost of 20000 and now hosts a second screen. Since February 1999 owner Galen Jansky has built community ties by screening Spurs games and school events, drawing 22 000 visitors from Wilson County and nearby areas. The renovation's latest phase starts May 15 with operation set for June 16.
