Sewer grant sought amid mayoral dispute in Falls City
Falls City council votes to pursue a 250000 grant to replace about a mile of old sewer pipe. The meeting also touches on mayor Vi Malone water metering amid mixed TNRCC guidance, plus a 275000 HOME grant for home reconstruction and a new breathing apparatus for the volunteer fire department. May election results indicate Malone edged Melton 74 to 48. Gery Jendrusch and Ralph Bollmann gain council seats with 91 votes each.
