Community Service Restitution Project beautifies Floresville
On May 13 1998 the 81st and 218th Judicial District Community Supervision and Corrections Department with Scott Murray of Murray Guaranty Title Company Wal Mart and Lussy and Eckel of Path donated time plants and flowers to beautify downtown Floresville and Wilson County. Volunteers included Wilson County defendants on adult probation and Mr and Mrs Wilbert Teltschik. The program aims to boost collaboration with local businesses to enhance the area.

Police arrest trio in Floresville burglary case
Police recovered nearly 950 dollars in stolen items after a burglary reported April 23 at 1201 Third Street. Suspects include Chris Guillen 18 and two juveniles aged 15 and 16. all charged with burglary of a habitation.
