Wilson County grants and proclamations approved at commission meeting
Commissioners advanced three bridge repair projects costing about 1.8 million dollars with 10 percent county and state shares each and federal funding. They authorized grants for juvenile probation staff and a Gates Foundation computer grant for the library. Proclamations honored Babysitter’s Day Older Americans Month and Police Week.
