Longhorn VFD Barbecue Raffle and Auction Benefit
The Longhorn Volunteer Fire Department hosts its 14th annual fundraiser on Saturday May 17 at the firehouse on SH 123 north of Stockdale. Meals feature barbecue brisket and sausage plates with trimmings from 11 am to 6 pm, plus carryouts. Live music by Coyote Junction. An auction starts at 3 pm, followed by a 17 prize raffle and a handmade quilt raffle at about 6 pm.

The Stockdale Masonic Lodge 470 presents the Alzafar Shrine A Capella Choir on Saturday May 10 at 8 p.m. in the Stockdale High School Auditorium. The group features The Chordsmen and The San Antonio Barber Shop Chorus. Tickets are $5 at the door. Funds finance a new lodge building roof.
