Council rejects rezoning of city lot in La Vernia
City officials unanimously oppose the Mulberry Street apartment project and approve renewing the Canyon Regional Water Authority contract for 200 acre-feet of treated water annually at about 1.30 per 1,000 gallons. The agreement runs through December 2015 and promises one of Texas's lowest city water rates.
