Floresville council approves budget increase after FELPS franchise reinstated
The Floresville City Council approves an $80,000 budget boost for the remainder of the fiscal year. The increase funds a 5 percent across the board raise for 34 city employees and a front-end loader purchase, following reinstatement of a FELPS franchise fee distribution after prior suspension since January 1996 due to ownership litigation costs.
