Poth woman dies in fog collision at U S 181
Geraldine Gorzell a 53 year old Poth resident died at 5 15 a m when her 2005 Chevy Impala failed to stop at a stop sign on C R 427 near U S 181 in near zero visibility. Edward Luna 59 also of Poth drove the other car and survived. Alfonso Velasquez 70 of Poth struck Luna s vehicle after the initial crash and both Luna and Velasquez were treated and released. Trooper Anthony Flores cited limited visibility as the cause and urged caution in fog.
