La Vernia council advances sewer water projects and new City Hall committee
The La Vernia City Council awarded water treatment and sewer improvement contracts under the 1998 Texas Community Development Program and set up a four member committee chaired by Carl Zenner to plan remodeling of City Hall. They also discussed funding the sewer line project with 70 000 from the water and sewer fund and 70 000 from the general fund and voted to advertise for bids.
