San Antonio water project starts with 2010 delivery goal
Officials from SAWS GBRA and SARA begin a major regional water supply project to divert Guadalupe River water to San Antonio by 2010 or sooner. The plan envisions a 130 mile pipeline from near the coast through five counties to Bexar with annual output about 23 billion gallons.
