Area students gain health care insight at UTSA camp
Twenty eight high school students from 15 area schools joined the 2001 Summer Biomedical Camp at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Participants toured health sites, learned medical procedures, and explored careers in medicine nursing and dentistry. The program aims to guide career planning and college prep with support from regional health entities.
