Floresville council selects grant and design firms
The Floresville council chose Raymond K. Vann and Associates to prepare a Texas Community Development Program grant application and Southwest Engineers Inc. for project design. Kibbe urged sewer plant repairs as priority and a $250,900 grant was deemed insufficient for all sewer needs. The chief of police resigned, with Sgt. Ray Gutierrez to assume chief duties. A citizen accused an officer of harassment. no action was taken. Budget workshops were set for July 14 and 15, with the next meeting July 17.
