14th Annual Miss LaVernia Pageant Opens April 4
Rehearsals under way for the 14th annual Miss LaVernia Scholarship Pageant. Nine contestants compete in Interview Swim Suit Talent and Evening Gown judged by five. Top prize is a 500 scholarship with 300 and 200 for runners-up. Pageant director Robbie Mills with Linda Duelm. Event at LaVernia High School Cafetorium at 7 p.m. Tickets 4. Proceeds fund community scholarships eye care medical aid scouting and park improvements.
