Atascosa County volunteers to head four-county narcotics task force
Lynn Ellison reports Atascosa County will lead a four county Narcotics Task Force including Atascosa Wilson Karnes and Frio Counties. The unit employs an ADA secretary and five undercover agents with 89000 in property seizures to date 22600 from Wilson County. Counties must contribute 25 percent cash match to federal grants with final Wilson County share to be decided next meeting. Koepp Chevrolet won sheriff department bid for two new cars at 23380. Precinct one road material bid approved.
