Ground is broken for a 2200 sq ft imaging center at Wilson Memorial Hospital. The $400000 project adds CAT scanner, updated x ray, mammography, ultrasound and nuclear medicine with 24/7 teleradiology. Construction by R L Miller. architect Namer Kaim. equipment from Southwest Imaging. funded by a $200000 two year loan and hospital funds.

The Texas Trailriders travel from Corpus Christi to the San Antonio Stockshow and Rodeo arrive in Kenedy today and proceed to Falls City to supper and a Cactus Country dance. The group departs Falls City for Poth and Floresville with meals, camping at the showbarn, and a fundraiser dance with Gordon Land and the Goolaks.
