Stockdale ISD names Freddie McFarland new superintendent
Freddie McFarland, formerly of Kerens ISD, assumed duties as Stockdale ISD superintendent on February 1. He replaces Bennie Wolff, honored at a retirement party. McFarland aims to fine tune the district and improve performance. He holds a degree from Angelo State University and has training from Southwest Texas State. He has taught in several districts and lives in Seguin with his wife Rhonda and daughter Alexis, who attends Stockdale schools.
