Falls City ISD earns high marks for AEIS ratings
Falls City High School and Luther Thomas Elementary School received exemplary accountability ratings from the Texas Education Agency for 2011-12. The district posted high AEIS marks with 10th and 11th graders scoring well on the 2012 TAKS, attendance above 98 percent, and zero dropout rate. The 2011 class graduated with an average SAT of 1089 and ACT of 22.3. The board also approved a class-size waiver for Kowalik's first grade and set the next meeting for January 23.
