Armed robbers plead guilty in multi pharmacy heists
San Antonio man Atseko Factor was sentenced to 339 months in federal prison for three counts of pharmacy robbery and three counts of brandishing a firearm. Co defendant Andre Dupree Jack pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit pharmacy robbery and four counts of brandishing a firearm. he faces sentencing January 16, 2025. The crimes spanned October to December 2020 as Factor and Jack robbed three pharmacies in Luling, Pleasanton, and Seguin, stealing more than $43,000 in controlled substances plus cash and merchandise. The investigation involved DEA ATF and local police in Pleasanton, Seguin, and Luling.

Driver Hits Pedestrian in Floresville Fatal Crash
A 2007 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 32 year old Victoria Ortiz struck Virgil Harmon 68 of Floresville on the improved shoulder of U S 181 around 11 50 p m December 16. Harmon died at the scene. Floresville Police Department and Wilson County Justice of the Peace are investigating.
