The Rudolph tale and a history of American milestones
A nostalgic Christmas feature blends the Rudolph origin story with a rapid tour of American history. It recounts Robert L. May creating Rudolph for Montgomery Ward in 1939, its rise to a TV icon, and notes military milestones from 1775 to the 1980s, including the 35th Infantry Division mechanization.
