AMPI Letters Protest Dairy Assessment Policy
About 20,000 AMPI dairy farmer members urged the U S Department of Agriculture to halt the 50 cents per hundredweight assessment slated to take effect December 1 1982. AMPI seeks alternative legislation to reduce production while stabilizing farmers and plans to share member letters with lawmakers in the 98th Congress.
