SAWS president retires after 5½ years leading San Antonio water system
Michael F. Thuss, president and CEO of the San Antonio Water System, announced retirement effective January 31, 2001. He has served as SAWS CEO since 1997 after 18 months as COO, and is a voting member of the South Central Texas Regional Water Planning Group. The board thanks him for his service as SAWS is the region’s largest water purveyor serving over 300,000 residences and businesses.
