Poth council approves drought plan and 697550 budget

The Poth City Council approved a drought contingency plan to curb water use during shortages and set a six stage sequence with mandatory limits at higher stages. They also adopted a 697550 municipal budget and awarded a contract to replace 945 feet of water line on Sylvester Street serving about 21 homes.

Driver License Offices Expand Hours in Karnes Floresville

The Driver License Division of the Department of Public Safety in Karnes and Wilson counties announces extended hours. Karnes City office now operates Monday and Tuesday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a noon to 1 p.m. lunch break. Floresville office adds Wednesday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a lunch and banking break from 12 to 1:15 p.m.
