Disposal well permit withdrawn near La Vernia

Geomeg owner Patrick Marable withdrew an application to operate a disposal well off FM 539 near La Vernia after opposition from residents and concerns over water safety. The Wilson County Community Values Association opposed increasing disposal volumes and converting to a commercial waste well while continuing vigilance on water and air quality.

DPS reminds motorists no not pass stopped school buses
