Mayor loses bid to spend forty thousand on backhoe

Four probation granted in Wilson County district court cases
Corpus Christi man Arturo Cantu 29 pled guilty to possession of about 26 pounds of marijuana found Nov 9 during a Wilson County traffic stop. He received seven years probation, 1500 dollar fine, and 350 hours CSR. Fabian Marroquin 21 and Kenneth Harris 41 received five years probation for delivery of cocaine. Marroquin also faces 1500 dollar fine and 300 hours CSR, Harris 2000 dollar fine and 300 hours CSR. Murphy Rocha 19 pled no contest to burglary of habitation, six years probation, 500 hours CSR, 1800 dollar fine.
