The Community Council of South Central Texas and the San Antonio Food Bank, under the Texas Commodity Assistance Program, will distribute USDA donations to eligible low income families and others. Traveling trunks exhibition at Longhorn Museum
The Longhorn Museum Society schedules a four trunk exhibition at the museum on S H 97 from 6 to 9 p m Tuesday August 21. Three groups perform including square dancers. Exhibits cover Cowboys and Cattle Drives The Other Cowboys Los Caminos Del Rio Agriculture and Ranching and Native American cultures. Display runs through Thursday September 13 with hours Tuesday to Saturday 8 to 5. Exhibition night is free, admission during hours by donation. An annual fund raising banquet in October and an open house in December with live Christmas music are planned.
