The Bank of New Hanover held its annual stockholders meeting at the Banking House with DuBrutz Cutlar presiding and Wm Calder as secretary. A majority of capital stock was represented, the annual report was presented by the Vice President, and eleven Directors were elected: C. M. Stedman, I. Bites, Jao. Dawson, D. R. Murchison, Don. McRae, H. Wolters, R. R. Bridgers, Jao. Atkinson, J. A. Leak, B. F. Little and E. B Borden. The meeting adjourned.
The Twenty-Sixth Annual Meecins of the Seaman's Friend Society held at the Beitel in this city on Wednesday evening February 12 4879. Edward Ridder chaired the meeting while the Secretary and Treasurer reported their accounts and the dome keeper, chaplain, and other officers submitted their reports for minutes. An audit committee of H B Eilers and Z E Heide was appointed to review theTreasurer's Peeks and Vduch and report at the next executive session.
