New Hanover County Board Meets in Regular Session
The Board of County Commissioners of New Hanover County met in regular session in the room adjoining the courthouse. Officers present included H. A. Bagg as chairman and several members. The treasurer reported January finances and bond burnings. Educational fund balance and marriage license receipts were noted. New constables were elected for Haxnet and Aspe Fear townships. The Board adjourned subject to the chairmen’s call. The Board of Education canvassed census data for school districts.
