In Petrograd on September 21 a riot erupted among Moscow based women troops. The attack targeted commander Vera Butenkareff after she provoked discontent among suffrage fighters. Many will be sent home while 250 may proceed to the front. a second clash over cloth led to militiamen and Cossacks dispersing the crowd.
Special to The Dispatch from Louisville Kentucky reports Judge Bingham returning from a visit and his lawyers planning to send a representative to Wilmington. The death of Mrs Henry M Flagler on July 27 is linked to the Bingham will case with doctors Ravitch and Tavitch named as attending physicians and heart disease cited as the cause.
