Strong testimony against means by hotel manager

In a courtroom sequence the defense pressed Rockefeller on whether Means and Deitch restrained Mrs King in April 1917. Rockefeller admitted Deitch wasn’t at the hotel until May 3 but was present before May 1, and said he was tipped off by the government against Means. The exchange followed a lengthy report on labor disputes and government mediation between the Atlantic Coast Line Railway and its clerks during 1917. The letter from J R Kenly and a presidential telegram from Woodrow Wilson framed the dispute and the push to rehire striking workers.
