Branch-Walker Nuptials At St Andrews Presbytery
Miss Dellious Branch and Mr. Ben D. Walker were married at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church last Wednesday at 9 pm in a simple ceremony led by Rev. Dr. A. D. McClure. Branch is from a local family. Walker, a Wilmingtonian, has been in Huntsville Ala as superintendent for The Standard Cement Construction Co. He has been called to the colors and will depart Monday for Camp Jackson to begin training.

Red Cross Auxiliaries Host Roof Garden Party Fundraiser
Warsaw May 24 special to The Dispatch reports the junior Red Cross auxiliary led by Misses Lou Mitchell Faison Margaret Barden and Helen Fonveille held a roof garden party at the Barden hotel to fund equipage for comfort bags for camp leavers. The event featured contests directed by Martha Hest and Mary Louise Mallard with reception by Mattie Owen Martha Gresham and Bessie Barden, plus a gypsy fortune teller and refreshments. The Red Cross plans another shipment of garments and bandages after receiving more from county branches, detailing items produced.
