Four train men were killed and two injured when two Seaboard Air Line freight trains collided head on near Franklinton North Carolina. The dead include Engineers H Gaskins and Samuel G Linkous and Fireman O L Wells and Brakeman George Napier. The wreckage burned severely destroying 27 cars of vegetables feed and other commodities.
