Prison sentence for sinking Liebenfels incident
Charleston, June 6. Captain K R Klattenhoff former master of the Liebenfels now USS Houston was sentenced to a year in Atlanta Federal Prison and a $500 fine after pleading guilty to sinking or allowing the ship to sink in navigable harbor waters on January 31. He said the act was at orders from Dr Muller German consul in Atlanta. Grand jury later indicted Klattenhoff Paul Wierse and W Muller for conspiracy and Paul Wierse for aiding and procuring the sinking. Wierse, an editorial writer, was expected to be arrested today.

Heroic Rescue From Hydroplane Off Toulon
Toulon France June 6 One hydro airplane caught fire and plunged into the sea. Ensign de Bishop and Quartermaster Baudoin were aboard when the other hydroairplane rushed to the scene.
