An advertisement touts Hyomei as a fast remedy for catarrh cold in the head and irritating cough. It describes the inhaler use and claims cures in one day and relief from snuffles hawking and offensive breath within a week. The product is said to be made from eucalyptus antiseptic and sold with a complete Outfit at druggists and R R Bellamy's.
Perry J. Kelly presents The Girl of My Heart a musical comedy with book and lyrics by Arthur J. Lamb and music by Jules Chauvenet. Edna Ann Luke leads as Mabel Splendid with Vertner Saxton as Jack Thunderer in a New York and Japan tale staged lavishly with a Japanese garden scene. The farce features a wreck of misunderstandings when a burglar claims a love letters satchel and a stolen necklace as police sequester the building. The company also previews Under Cover a melodrama with no pistol shots and notes its collaboration of Mabel Paige Peruchi Gypzene and D Oize stock units with Cusack and Ritchie among others.
Horace Price and Lucius Davenport were seriously injured Monday afternoon when their auto was struck by Atlantic Coast Line train No. 64 in Tarboro. They were rushed to Edgecombe General Hospital for treatment.
