Census plans for city schoolchildren were debated. a three-member committee was appointed to pursue the effort. Visiting committees were tasked with reporting repair estimates. A request for a $100 donation to a drawing school was postponed. Insurance policy changes to favor home companies were discussed. a resolution urged all school building insurance be placed with home companies only, passing 16 to 1.
