Last night the Delaware freight train No. 17, due in the city at 10, struck a horse walking on the tracks near New Castle. The impact broke one of the animal’s legs. No owner was obliged to it.

In this city on the Mth lost Bridget O'Neill aged 72. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral from the residence of her son in law Christopher Dough on Madison street Saturday morning at o'clock. High mass at St. Pauls Church. Interment at Cathedral cemetery.
