Mystery of the River Seen Port Penn Bundle

Delaware City June 22 A mysterious and suspicious bundle was observed Tuesday by Andrew Bowen Hetty Tagend and a companion near Port Penn Pier. The drifting object and strong stench prompted their approach but the bundle was towed ashore and nothing more has been seen. The scene remains under watch for further developments.

Tragic Love Triangle Ends in Murder at Port Onam

In Port Onam New Jersey on June 21 a young man named James Triglone killed his love rival after failing to win Miss Minnieuin. He shot Henry James then killed Miss Seguin before fleeing, leaving her body in the Morris Canal. Triglone, described as about 24 with dark hair and a mustache, is still at large as authorities search the area.

Unknown brig found at Murr Ledge off Maine coast

On Tuesday morning fishermen found an unknown brig or brigantine in three fathoms of water at low tide near Murr Ledge on the Maine coast. It is believed to have been lost last winter. Several arrests were made of men suspected of wrecking the Johnston Harvester Work at Menor aertreise York. Another man, Freeman Board, is now known to have perished in the building.
