Edward DeHaven was arraigned at police hearings this morning on a larceny charge for taking a pocketbook from Joseph Taylor at his boarding house on Spruce Street. Taylor testified he woke to find the wallet missing, while landlady Mrs Money said DeHaven was seen near the room and leaving the building. bail set at $300 for the next court term.
On Sunday January 15 at 5 PM the funeral of James Asheton Bayard will be held at the Old Swede Church in Wilmington Delaware with his widow Henry Bayard and local mourners attending. The notice notes his age and mentions a forthcoming service at the church.
