Tobacconist Fred Fisher Dies After Philadelphia Operation

Fred Fisher a tobacconist at Front and King streets died at University Hospital Philadelphia after an operation to remove a shoulder blade for a large tuner on the peace. Fatal Aquident Deadly Fall Kills 9 Year Old on New Castle Ave

A nine year old boy, Willie Guthrie, son of carriage builder Jones Guthrie, was killed after his horse bolted on New Castle avenue near Edward N. Morley’s residence. The horse trampled him, causing a fatal head injury as bystanders heard him cry for his mother. He died shortly after being moved to Morley’s yard.
