New Trier Debaters Defeat Roosevelt Rivals in Debate

New Trier High School debaters Erickson Goldstein and Davis defeated Roosevelt High School of Chicago 6 to 2 on Monday at New Trier. They argued for abolishing the jury system while Roosevelt defended it, and Northwestern University judge Prof. LeRoy Laase praised their knowledge, organization, rebuttal, and overall performance. Marjorie Koenig chaired.

Man Made Static Soon to Be Eliminated Says Randlev

P H Randlev of Dannemark Electric says man made static will be eliminated. A conference by C A Earl division of Charles Freshman Company will convene representatives of electric sign, piano, elevator, telephone, street car and refrigerator makers to discuss six months of research. They aim to reduce interference entering radios via power line or aerial by perfected apparatus.
